DIY hand bouquet&corsage

may i know is there anyone here got DIY experience on hand bouquet which maybe using white carrara Lily or white tulip which maybe using a ribbon to wrap it,like country style? And corsage,wrist corsage for JImui too?

Hmm... I didn't do my hand bouquet myself.. afterall, it's a bit risky, what if it doesn't turn out perfect

But calla lily hand tied bouquet should be easy enough to do, you can google search for methods to tie them, I think I've seen some websites that teach you step by step, but I didn't bookmark them, so can't share with you

As for wrist corsage, I used pink gerberas for my ji muis, just tie a elastic ribbon on it and let them tie the corsage to wherever they wanted, be it wrist, or arm or neck; a fren even put in in front of her chest, quite cute.

The wedding night corsage I use pink rose for ladies and red rose for guys, with a little bit of 'cherry' or 'fu gui guo'. My aunt brought back corsage pins from the US, which was proven better than the usual pin that florists here provide. Again, you can try google for it, it's a very long needle like pin. My HB side bought their corsage, which costs RM4 each, to me it's totally not worth it lor, my roses were only RM0.50 each

You plan to use pink gerbera for corsages that you pin on the chest is it? Hmm... you should probably try to do a few and see if it's nice first. I think gerbera is a bit big to be placed on guy's chest, so better experiment first

As for handbouquet, are you having a long stem hand bouquet? I love those, but becos I wore an A line gown, it's much better to use round shape bouquet, so I stick with ivory roses

I did use long stem calla lily for my ROM, liked it a lot

I tell you what, I love that bouquet too but unfortunately I cannot find it after the shooting at the beach, HB searched the car upside down but still cannot find it, so lost! where? I bet is at the beach .. sigh have to say bye bye to that bouquet. And because of that I went back to the shop tot to get the similar bouquet to replace the lost one, unfortunately, NO MORE! but then I found another similar bouquet to replace it!

Your red rose even though is simple but it looks nice too!!may i know the purple bouquet u are using what things to make it tight before u wrap with ribbon outside for the sterm? and how much for the whole cost u spent for each bouquet?your corsage also nice ler! i also intend want DIY corsage myself.where can i get the sources?thanks!

for the purple silk bouquet, I'm just using rubber band to tight them up before wrap with white ribbon hahahaha I can't find anything at home beside the rubber band :P

Let me recall ya .. the purple silk bouquet cost me ard RM16, ribbon about RM2, forgot how much for the white lace but definately less than RM25 :P

For the red roses, 2 dozens of red roses RM24, baby breadth in 1 big packet RM20 but I only used 1/8 nia, some for my hair then the rest just decor the house :P then white ribbon about RM2 also.

I'm from Kuching, if in Kuching I can tell you where to source those stuffs :)

hi,thanks for your info.but Kuching flowers really very cheap ya! ur cost total up also ard RM50 ler...which this kind of price at KL here cant get a proper bouquet also.hehe~i got asked 5white carrara lily need RM45 already.

I bought the roses and baby breadth from wholeseller, compared to outside it is much more cheaper :)

but now they increased the price, 1 dozen of roses is RM14 if 2 dozens got better price RM25 :)

calla lilies much more expensive, but the wholeseller doesn't have calla lilies, I ever asked a florist about calla lilies, not cheap oh, 1 stalk of calla lilies about RM8 - RM10.
